Stephen Bridges is an experienced senior executive with deep expertise in financial controls, project controls, cost controls, and project and cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract management, and relationship management, primarily in the construction and aviation industries.
Stephen had a 12-year career in commercial banking before returning to graduate school to earn a Master of Science in Accounting.
Following graduate school, he spent 11 years as the Financial Controls Director for the $720M renovation of the Dallas Love Field Airport. The Love Field Modernization Program was a private-public partnership with multiple stakeholders. Stephen was responsible for the financial controls for the project, which was completed early and under budget. When the pandemic hit, he pivoted to working with general contractors in the construction industry first in Dallas, then in Los Angeles. He has deep expertise in project accounting for a variety of constructions projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 up to $35 million.
Stephen has experience with SAGE100, SAGE300, Procore Technologies (certification earned), QuickBooks, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Stephen holds of Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (1995), a Bachelor of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior and Business Policy (1995), and a Master of Science in Accounting (2009) from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
